Witryna26 gru 2024 · After further reading a potential cause of this issue could be actually bad DEF (even thou I used BMW adblue). DEF has limited shelf life. Always check the expiry date before using it. Even if DEF is sitting in the tank of your car, it can still go bad. Once it goes bad (ratio is off), it will wreck havoc on senors.Witryna11 gru 2024 · So it's a 2014 328i D, the DEF low level warning came on and it's telling us 1500km until it's out of DEF and 'no start'. Ok, so we bought DEF fluid and filled it up at the gas tank cap/DEF filler location until it was full. That's all great, but the level sensor did not reset and it's still counting down the km's until the fluid is gone.
