WebSep 26, 2016 · The issue with this is that gcc on the Jetson is a 32 bit (arm-linux-gnueabihf) but the kernel needs to be compiled for aarch64. To remedy this I guess there are (at least) 3 options. Compile the kernel on a host machine using a cross-compile to aarch64 and then install said kernel on the Jetson. WebJun 1, 2024 · There's no aarch64 build for wiringpi in the repo right now. There's an armhf toolchain in the repo that should work, although I haven't tried it with wiringpi myself. I'm not sure what level of support we can offer for wiringpi moving forward, so please consider switching to an alternative.

It wouldn't be hard to support in gcc- but it would require all associated libraries be built with the option as well and that implies a lot of support ... hairstyles layered long
